KZ ATE S possesses a dark, warm, low-mid, thin high-mid tone, good detail and V-Shaped. Bass is pretty in terms of volume, sub bass is pretty deep, however speed, control is moderate and has a slight pulling tails. The sound field of the ATE S is quite wide – one of the earliest soundstage earbuds from KZ.
Regarding the genre, despite the ability to do a good job, ATE S will merge with EDM (Trance, Dubstep, Electronic), Pop or somewhere Vocal (mid backward but good detail, not too overwhelmed by Bass). In addition, the experience also shows that ATE S is highly dependent on tips, so make sure you choose the right type of tips fit to your ears – to avoid the case out loud.

Possessing Dual Dynamic Driver, which promises to deliver a burst of bass, the ZS1’s sound is disappointing – especially when compared to the ATE.
That explains why despite the mid and treble still have good details but can not to show, as well as hard to impress the listener. Perhaps KZ has also recognized this defect and it is likely that it will be improved in the upcoming ZS2 version.

After experiencing quite a lot of KZ products, I assert that ED9 is one of the best in-ear p / p in the present time. Sound quality, detail, good technique and sound field are really good compared to competitors in the same segment.
ED9’s bass is quite compact but not much, focusing on the mid-bass should be a little shallow feeling, EDM can replace the bass boost filter to be sufficiently “pressed”. Mid slightly dry but in return, the treble stripe on the in-ear is very impressive, sharp, bright and extension. With the built-in filter, the ED9’s ability to play riffs is real, beyond the range of the Xiaomi Piston or Rock Zircon range.
