The AIO LS520 water cooler belongs to the LS Series product line launched by Deepcool on Computex 2022 with many valuable improvements to serve both the 12th generation Intel and AMD 7000 Series. LS520 uses a 4th generation 2-chamber pump with performance up to 3100 RPM. This is probably the best quality radiator version of Deepcool after its predecessor Castle 240EX.
The box of the product is simply packaged, and the main ingredients inside include:
- AIO heatsink
- 2 FC120 120mm radiator fans
- For socket LGA1700, TR4, AM4/AM5
- User manuals
Overall, the LS520 has an angular design with high sophistication, the block is designed in a square shape to resemble a box-shaped design for a new feeling with LED effects on the block’s face, and the magnetic wire connection. The Radiator is also neatly made to make the internal space of the machine more airy and improve aesthetics.
Deepcool’s block face has been refreshed with an ARGB LED border around it, and Deepcool’s new logo has also been refreshed with a new brand identity. In addition, Deepcool also introduced an ARGB LED effect on the outside of the block that can be individually customized with many different eye LED effects.
The Radiator edge is also made thicker to avoid impact during movement and installation. The highlight of the Radiator part is also Deepcool’s new identification logo. LS520 uses DeepCool’s FC120 fan, equipped with a unique fan connection system that allows easy connection of both fan and light controls in one cable. The FC120 radiator fan is one of the better-performing fan models with quite good air pressure and air volume blowing into the Radiator at ~82.48 CFM & 3.27mm H2O.
Installing DeepCool’s LS520 is quite easy. You just need to attach the Radiator to the case first, then bolt the appropriate sockets and attach the block to the CPU surface. The LS520 is also pre-applied by the manufacturer with a layer of dissipative glue so users can just attach it directly to the CPU without having to Apply thermal paste
DeepCool LS520 gives quite good results when possible with only a 240mm size Radiator according to the Manufacturer’s recommended specification at 280 TPW. However, if those using CPUs with high TDP and clock speeds such as 13900k, they should still use AIO heatsinks with Radiator size > 360mm or larger to achieve the best heat dissipation performance.
