Design

My favorite item on the RHA MA650 Wireless is its low profile, but it has the same design and features as the MA750.

On the necklace is the power button, USB charging port and NFC module.

Vibration and 12 hours of battery life are also preserved compared to the more advanced MA750.

The MA750 comes with a crossover housing and the MA650 Wireless has the same earpiece as the wired MA650, Cord-down. Of course, this part is made of high quality aluminum, giving a feeling of touch and wear cool!

The MA650 fits well, but still loses one step over the flagship MA750!

The control-talk section is also full of three transfer keys, volume controls, and is made of soft aluminum alloy.

The headset is also IPX4 water resistant.

Experience

Because it’s a wireless headset, Bluetooth MA650 Wireless does not have the same Hi-res certification as the wired version. But this does not prevent the headset from sounding good. For me, the final sound quality depends a lot on the negative tune, not on the hardware certificate.

Headphones with bass are just enough to hear, not excessive. This is the general trend of most high-end earphones from RHA, to create a very elegant “British-style” sound. The bass seems to be light, with more emphasis on mid bass and bass than sub bass, not much in volume but the advantage is the speed of the beat quickly, leaving no nasty tail. MA650 and MA650 Wireless bass will be good enough with light music, high speed pop without too much bass, and will not fit into Dance, EDM. For those who love powerful music can try the MA390, or transfer to eXtra Bass or Sony 1000X.

The MA650 Wireless owns a bright and clean vocal. The strength of the RHA products is that although the mid-tone is bright, but is filled and not lack of sound so it is not dazzling. In part because the high mid is high enough, not too strong peaks cause sibalance. The mid-range of the MA650 is a bit lower than the MA750, with higher headphones for better detail and tone. Try with Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble,” a strong male vocalist, a bit lacking in low mid but not too bad.

Although there is no high frequency range to reach the Hires standard like the wired version, the treble of the MA650 Wireless is extremely bright and full of energy. Try with Clean Bandit’s Symphony, the treble sounds are very clear and tinkling. Treble is something that users can enjoy with RHA products.

Of course, the lower range of the MA650, both wired and wireless, has a slightly lower sound than the MA750. The detail of the headset is still very good in the price range, but not comparable to the higher range of the same brand!

The point I am extremely satisfied that the latency of the headset is almost zero. All of RHA’s wireless headsets are designed with DSPs, which are very good receivers, so low latency, allowing users to listen to music, play movies and play games.

Like the RHA MA750 and MA750 Wireless pair, the MA650 Wireless is priced at about $50 higher than the MA650. And with $50, we have the convenience of wireless headphones, NFC, water resistance, vibration notification, really a bargain!
