Deconstructed design from Z Fold 3: thinner and lighter, and with a bigger space outside and inside the screen.
If you were craving a significant change in its design, the wait would extend until the next Fold generation. As it is, the Z Fold 4, under the Samsung company, has really retained almost all of the designs from the Z Fold 3, save for some minor alterations. Side-by-side comparisons will also hardly reveal the change.
To be specific, though, Fold 4 now has reduced the screen borders much outside and inside, which make the two screens a little more spacious while making Fold 4 lighter at 263g. While these size and weight differences between Fold 4 and Fold 3 aren’t especially large, my experience has shown that they can make a difference during use–especially when holding a phone for long periods of time.
Fold 4 is still rated IPX8 waterproof, meaning it can survive under water at a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Fold 3 and Flip 3 were the first in the market due to being water-resistant-without making a hole in their promise on Fold 4. The existing furrows were difficult to see head-on but are quite visible at an angle from either corner and when pressed in the center. It’s not too bad for regular use, though. The S Pen that comes with Fold 4 is very much like the S Pen of Fold 3 but has some newer features.
There is still an under-display camera in the same way that the Fold 3 comes with such a feature. One can note that despite being hidden, this area still has less pixel density, which makes the pixels a little bit more pitted than the usual appearance of every pixel. Apparently, there are still two versions of S Pen for Z Fold4. That is a standard version known as S Pen Fold Edition that does not have Bluetooth and supports only the typical operations of Air Command. An S Pen Pro edition comes with Bluetooth, adding advanced features, such as Air Action, LED light, etc. Like Fold 3, you will need to buy an additional S Pen and a dedicated leather case to house the pen for Fold 4, the device does not have a pen slot like Note or S22 Ultra.

The Fold 4 has excellent flexibility in the hinge that allows the laptop-style operation of the device by folding the screen in half at an angle of about 90 degrees, or to fold the screen at lots of different angles.
