The Vivotek IP8151 is a fixed-mount indoor-mounted camera, a white metal rectangular body, and a black metal base.

The IP8151 is removable with a focal length of 3.1-8mm, aperture of f / 1.2, a cable that connects to the rear body of the camera, zoom lever and custom focus.

It’s a small dome, and on most walls you’ll barely notice it. The IP66 rating keeps out dust and holds up to strong water jets, so a tropical downpour won’t bother it. There’s also a built-in sunshield. On a wall that catches direct sun, it keeps the picture from washing out.

Image quality

1080p is a real improvement over the 1 MP models. Faces and number plates are easier to make out, especially at the edges of the frame. It’s enough for most home and business use. If you need to read small detail at a distance, you’ll want more megapixels.
