Laptops often have to reduce screen size to increase portability with light weight and overall dimensions just right. The LG Gram, however, shows that a lightweight laptop with a fairly modest size can still own a fairly large screen, good performance and impressive battery life.
The LG Gram 2017 laptop has three screen versions, 13.3 inches; 14 inches and 15.6 inches for $ 1000 for the smallest version and up to $ 1500 for the largest version. All three versions feature full HD touchscreens with IPS games, Intel Core i7-7500U processor, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. This is an acceptable price for such a configuration, especially with a laptop weighing only 1kg and only 1.55cm thick.
Size and volume are things I like about LG Gram 15, but the overall design and feel of reusability are unconvincing. The magnesium alloy frame does not create the same sense of security as laptops with premium aluminum casing, especially the lid. Machine covered with a dark silver paint from the inside out makes it difficult to stand out and not really impress.
Monitor and camera
Full HD display with ultra-thin design will bring a lot of fun for you. LG is pretty strong in making TVs and monitors, so it’s not really surprising that the LG Gram 15’s display quality is very good. The screen is sharp, the colors are vivid, and the brightness also looks solid, the viewing angle is very wide too. Still, there are moments when the surface feels a bit glossy and, it can make you uncomfortable. In addition, the screen also has built-in Reader Mode that allows to reduce the bluish color quickly.
Due to the thin edge of the screen plus, LG has positioned the camera right at the hinge of the screen and makes the camera catch your nose. In order for the camera to receive all of your face, the screen section must be open at a 90 degree angle.

The LG Gram 15 is equipped with two USB 3.0 ports, a microSD card slot, an HDMI port and a USB-Type C port with support for video output, high speed data transfer and Ethernet connectivity via a single adapter.
Another minus point that LG Gram 15 and LG Gram 13 all have is the keyboard with the keys are quite shallow. This will not create comfort and familiar when typing, especially for people with strong typing habits. In addition to, while the keys are quite large, the two Enter and Backspace keys are quite small and make it easy for you to miss them.
The touchpad mouse is quite sensitive to software that allows you to adjust the movement and press as you like. However, it is not clear why LG removed the fingerprint sensor cluster from LG Gram 15, instead of placing it like the 13-inch version.

Besides, although the screen up to 15.6 inches, but the overall size of LG Gram 15 is quite compact with a thickness of only 1.55 cm. Ignoring some of the big exceptions, such as design, keyboard and speaker quality, the LG Gram 15 has good performance, nice screen, and good battery life.
