Design:
The phone made a very strong impression on me: so beautiful! Especially in the pink version. As a product from a Japanese company so I highly appreciate the meticulous and elaborate on this machine. Edge trim is made diamond cut both before and after as on the Apple iPhone 5s but thickness is pretty much thinner. The back of the machine is designed bo light in all four corner, creating a hold when holding.
Talking about grip feeling, solid metal design makes the machine very solid. Thin design plus slightly angular make the feel of hand grip. But thanks to the light curved bent at the back to help remove the machine a lot.
There is a point where finishing is not advanced in the very pretty overall. The 2.5D lens feels good, but the contact point of the bottom is not the same as the other side. The white part under the glass was a little too thin to reduce the finishing quite a lot. Although this does not affect much use.
But the white part underneath the glass both above and below are beautifully carved. Do not bring much but these little points bring something different
Home key:
It took me a while to realize that there were no Back and Recent apps. These two keys are integrated into the home key with fingerprint sensor. Touch once is Back, click once on Home, double click on recent app.
The Samurai Rei is not the first integrated phone of its kind. But it seems that many people are not familiar with this type of operation when I give some friends a try. I find it quite convenient, but requires a short familiarity with the new use.
The sensitivity of this fingerprint sensor is quite good. Many times I put my hand in but did not get it, although my hands were completely dry. In cases your hands are wet, it is no better.
Screen:

The color displayed on this machine is very pleasant, neutral, not too brilliant. Another plus point for this screen is the IPS panel which gives a very good viewing angle. Camera:
