amazon Jabra Elite 45e reviews
Design
Jabra is a leader in wireless headset design, but not everyone is fit for that type of headset, so it has a pair of necklaces like the 45e.
Overall, the 45e has a very similar design to the Partron PBH-400, with a plastic necklace and strap to the sides. In the right hand necklace we have three main control buttons to turn on, stop playing music, transfer songs and adjust the volume.
But on the wire to the right ear we have another cluster containing the microphone, to bring the microphone closer to the user mouth, increasing the quality of the conversation.
The earpiece of the 45e has a hybrid design between Inear and Earbud. Headphones with ear cushions, including earplugs but not fit into the user’s ears that open a small gap. This design feels great when worn, but also because of the ‘sacrifice’ a little bit of sound insulation. In general, the sound insulation of the 45e is quite good, much better than the earbuds, but not quite as in-ear.
The outer surface of the earpiece is integrated magnet, so users can attach together when not in use.
Practical experience
To enhance the experience for the headset, the company offers its users a software called Jabra Sound. With this software you can customize 3 EQ presets to suit different situations, and more specifically, software upgrades to increase the stability of the headset. The company also gives users two audio tracks, ‘Ocean Waves’ – the waves of the waves to help users focus on learning, work; and ‘Pink noise’ to make the user comfortable, easier to fall asleep. This is not a mandatory software, but users can use the headset independently, but with the software, the user will be able to experience the headphones more completely.
One of the things I do not like about Jabra’s old headphones is that it chooses a slightly heavier bass-head, which sounds very good at first, but in the long run it feels a bit tired. With the 2018, which is 45e, the company still retains the sound quality, but it is more balanced than before, so it is easier to feel.
The bass volume of the headphones is heavy, never giving a feeling of lack in vibrant dance tracks. But unlike previous products, the headset controls it in moderation, not letting it squeeze in other tones. Experiment with rapper Childish Gambino’s This is America, the drum beat down in a healthy, yet soft, and flicker at the right time, not too loud. The bass depth is quite good, reaching the sub bass rather than full mid bass, though it is worn in hybrid style between earbud and in-ear. Jabra’s bass is almost identical to the likes of Sony and Sennheiser, and this is a good choice for me and for many consumers.
Due to the more compact and tuneful bass strings, the Elite 45e’s vocalist has so much more space than Jabra’s previous productions. Mid is not progressing but is laid back, warm and slightly dark, but not covered by any band so always clear. The detail of the mid is good, so although gentle and easy to hear but still no feeling. Trying out with Amber Rubarth in Wildflowers in the Gravyard, the Elite 45e makes a very quiet, airy and vocal voice. The high-mid enough and roll-off, should avoid the phenomenon of dizziness. Overall, this is a very pleasant midrange, especially praised for a pair of headphones toward bass like the Elite 45e.
The weaknesses that Elite 45e has not improved compared to the old product is the treble. In an overall view, this band is not so bad, because it’s just enough. But when compared to the products that have a brighter sound like Partron PBH-400, the treble of the 45e is slightly lacking energy, sank after the mid and deep bass to not leave much impression. This treble can be described as ‘sufficient’, but can be improved to better.
