The Gainward GT 730 GDDR5 is extremely compact. The case is just enough to fit the VGA (wrapped in a shock pocket) and the driver disk and the manual.
The card possesses a low-profile, low-level board design as short as possible. Although not nice, low-profile has the advantage of being compatible with compact HTPC cases. This is the point I think is reasonable because the VGA market for HTPC is very short and weak – while the game is an indispensable feature in any entertainment system.
Due to low board, the D-Sub port must connect the signal cable from the board.
Although low-profile, Gainward is equipped with two-slot heat sink. This allows better heat dissipation, quieter and more durable, making their GT 730 GDDR5 compatible with both HTPC and regular PC configurations. However, this can make the card can not fit some standard ITX chassis.
With only 49W rated TDP, the GT 730 only requires two power phases to operate. Each phase is equipped with two flux filters.
