amazon A10-7700K reviews
Today’s main topic will be the iGPU performance of the A10-7700K – the lower price CPU in the two products. For the price of about $150, A10-7700K is worth more than the Pentium + VGA common removable combo?
A10-7700K and ASRock Fatal1ty FM2A88X + Killer
AMD chips have bigger soles. Unlike Intel, the socket sockets designed by AMD are located on the underside of the chip rather than on the motherboard. These pins are very loud and hard so do not worry about the socket pins like Intel.
The motherboard I used in the test was ASRock Fatal1ty FM2A88X + Killer. Fatal1ty Killer is a new product line of ASRock which is equipped with many features serving gamers like Killer LAN, Purity Sound …
The CPU mounting area is a bit different from Intel, typically the socket pins are not on the main. The amount of power phases on this motherboard is 6 – relatively enough for a 95W TDP CPU.
A88X chipset and CPU socket FM2 support dual channel memory. For iGPU performance, RAM bandwidth is a critical factor for great impact.
Main up to eight SATA3 ports, fully supported by the A88X chipset, without the support of ASMedia chips.
The back panel has four USB 3.0 ports and four 2.0 ports, all of which are peripheral devices.
AMD’s cooling fan design is very different from Intel’s, which makes the clip more reliable and easier to remove.

Integrated graphics performance
Referring to integrated graphics performance, one important factor that can not be ignored is the RAM bandwidth. The higher the RAM bandwidth, the higher the performance. It is well known, however, how specific performance varies over clock frequencies, between single and dual channel hardware review sites they do not test so this part I will test very carefully.
CPU Performance: A10-7700K vs. G3220
Results of the A10-7700K (1600 Dual RAM) and the G3220 (1333 Dual RAM):
Two 3DMark Vantage (CPU Score) and 3DMark 11 (Physics Score) graphics software evaluate the CPU performance of the A10-7700K over the G3220 by about 15 16%. Also with Render Cinebench R11.5 software and Cinebench R15, A10-7700K than G3220 respectively 34% and 32%.
On monolithic performance, the Cinebench R11.5 evaluates each core of the G3220 more than the A10-7700K to 40%!

Conclude
Socket FM2 + marks a huge advance for AMD on iGPU performance. With the popular Dual Channel 1600 kit, this chip delivers the same level of graphics performance as the popular VGA ones such as the R7 240 and HD 7730 GDDR3. The CPU performance of the A10-7700K is also slightly better than the G3220, while the quad-core advantage also helps the A10-7700K handle more tasks better.
However, the RAM bandwidth that affects the performance of iGPU is a weakness of the A10-7700K:
– If using only single channel RAM, iGPU performance is relatively weak.
– 2x 2GB solution will be difficult to upgrade RAM later because good A55 + motherboards are only equipped with 2 RAM slots. Also, the 2 GB stick on the market today only has the 1333 type. (For many current users 4 GB RAM is sufficient enough so this limitation can be ignored.)
– Solution 2x 4GB 1600 relatively unreasonable, weaker game performance G3220 + 4 GB RAM + VGA strong.
So, who will find this new FM2 + socket:
– Firstly: The graphic designer and the need to entertain the game. Graphics applications take advantage of multi-core and very good RAM so the A10-7700K + 8 GB RAM is a reasonable choice for them.
– Second: Learners and network workers, the need to run multiple virtual machines and the need to entertain the game. With 4 processor cores, the A10-7700K streams relatively well when running multiple virtual machines. At the same time running virtual machines also consume quite a lot of RAM, 2x 4 GB memory is relatively practical.
– Third: Game players plow online. These players often plug in many acc, surf the web, listen to music, watch movies at the same time, so the demand for processing flow and high RAM.
– Fourth: The net game room. With the TDP of 95W for both CPU and iGPU, obviously the A10-7700K has the advantage of power consumption. Besides a 2x 2GB 1333 kit, the iGPU performance is more than enough to meet the needs of online gaming and MOBA. 4 GB is also the common RAM of net gaming rooms.
For CPU performance, the A10-7700K is more than the Pentium G3220 from 15% to 34% for multi-threaded tasks – ie, the A10-7700K is sharply across the Core i3. In contrast, the monochrome performance of the G3220 is up to 40% more powerful! Combined with the powerful performance of iGPU, the price of 150 USD of A10-7700K is too reasonable.
