amazon My Hero One’s Justice 2 reviews
My Hero One’s Justice 2 – Game adaptions, movie adaptations, board game adaptations, novels adaptations … Generally, adaptable products are flooding the market, from the small screen to the big screen from about 5 years to come here.
But when it comes to adapting to the game industry, Bandai Namco has been ahead of the world trend for a long time.
This game studio is exactly the tycoon that transforms feature films originating from the cherry blossom country into video games, with a history of nearly 15 years maybe.
My Hero One’s Justice of course is no exception, the title game with the name “super-powerful” is an adaptation of the famous series My Hero Academia.
After the first season’s decent sales, post-production of My Hero One’s Justice 2 has also been released.
So, whether the game can get rid of the shadow of the seniors or simply “add numbers to the name”?
Let’s find out with Biareview through the following article.
My Hero One’s Justice 2 or to be exact, the plot of My Hero Academia tells a world where most people possess superpowers (called Quirks).
Possessing greater power, the greater the temptation, there are always those who fall before the temptation and use their superpowers to break the laws of the world.
With the emergence of superpowers is a surge of evil and as the government is busy revising the law, private superheroes begin to sprout up to fight the villains.
Gradually the superhero (Hiro or Hero) with the help of the media and the support of the people, becomes a mainstream career and is the desire of millions of people around the world.
Our main character – Izuku Midoriya is no exception, he is a genuine superhero fanatic and aspires to be a superhero more than anyone.
But life is too boring for the boy, in a world where everyone has Quirks, our boy does not own it (and his house is not rich either).
But the story cannot end right from chapter 1 for this reason.
Midoriya accidentally meets first-rate superhero All Might and finds out about his secret.
All Might later be revealed that his Quirks are passable and he decides to give it to Midoriya (after he plunges into the mud to save his friend).
After acquiring the power of “One For All” by absorbing All Might’s DNA (which is more literary than… swallowing a strand of his hair), Midoriya possesses the power of the world’s best superhero.
World summary of My Hero One’s Justice 2, it is like that and mainly so that you do not have to wonder that but in the game, it will be shortened in… 10 seconds in flashback form!
The main plot of My Hero One’s Justice 2 will tell the rest after Midoriya passed the entrance exam to UA, Japan’s top superhero high school.
Midoriya begins a real adventure of his life on the path of becoming a true superhero (if you watch the animated movie of the same name it will be season 3 and a little at the end of season 2 according to the movie).
In terms of gameplay, My Hero One’s Justice 2 has a style quite similar to its predecessors – crazy, powerful, and epic.
My Hero’s Justice 2’s fighting style is divided into 3 main types of attacks: normal attack, partner, and special attack.
You can freely combine them and it will form a chain of moves (in a way) and whatever it looks cool.
With a lot of the headaches of traditional fighting games (like combining moves, remembering long sequences, or something like that), My Hero One’s Justice 2 proved to be quite easy on the You go into a match and press all the buttons and then beat your opponent somehow (it seems the producer even supported it by adding a little QTE).
But what if you hate that kind of brainless fighting?
No problem, the manufacturer also provides additional features to increase the game’s tactics such as surfing, blocking, counter-attacks …
The effects and interactions with the environment are exaggerated, making the already fast paced game even more insane (like literally stuffing your opponent’s head on the ground).
My Hero One’s Justice 2 also owns a fairly complete character volume with more than 40 playable characters, as well as has improved the menu poor from its predecessor, added to the game mode Arcade, Custom …
The graphics of the game are made in the traditional Cel-shading style, simple but beautiful and portrayed by the original spirit (and thankfully Bandai Namco has abandoned the animation style and is superficial as did with Jump Force).
Even though I own a lot of game modes (compared to part 1), My Hero One’s Justice 2 still can’t solve the problem of its predecessor: everything is just repeating actions simplified.
It is the simplification of the gameplay that makes all the characters in the game almost no difference in the gameplay.
The things that seem to help with this are defending and counter-attacking are too easy to disarm, so attacking is almost the only thing you can do.
The Pluss Ultra (special attack) feature is something I find extremely difficult to understand. It’s too hard to grasp, whether you’ve just thrown a bunch of chains in the face of your opponent or been beaten to half a tree of health, the Pluss Ultra score is still a round zero.
The random type is that you will get 1 or 2 Pluss Ultra points to shoot the ability at the opponent, but if you try to save it, the points will evaporate like never before.
Except for Arcade, the rest of the modes are mostly made available (even Story is a simplified and imposing recap).
Mission mode is the one I regret the most, it caused quite a bit of excitement at the beginning: a hero subtracts evil, recruits and trains other heroes of all kinds, but only there and… over, everything that remains is an endless loop.
The Custom feature is particularly disappointing, as almost every accessory is either made from one person on another or changed color (at least give a few bikinis to please fans) .
And the multiplayer feature is… well, it’s just that you switch from fighting the CPU in the game to a CPU with a random name!
