amazon Seagate Barracuda Pro 10TB reviews
Design and Material:
Compared with the simple white label design with product information looks pretty mediocre ago. All of Seagate’s hard drives as well as Barracuda Pro in particular are wrapping themselves in new colors and look a bit cooler with illustrations that are stylized stylized headers (Barracuda) looks very sharp.
The Barracuda Pro shell has also been significantly improved to distinguish itself from its smaller value HDDs. Instead of the traditional black plastic cover of most HDD manufacturers, Seagate is investing in a gold-plated finish for Barracuda Pro. Also Barracuda Pro seems so heavier than the previous version a little but negligible.
Specifications:
Hard disk size: 3.5 inches
Up to 10TB, but the size of the hard drive remains the same at 3.5″ is probably one of the efforts of Seagate’s researchers and hard drive developers. Hopefully in the near future, we can see huge woes in smaller HDD sizes like the HDD size 2.5″.
Capacity: Seagate’s Barracuda Pro series has 3 capacities of 6Tb, 8Tb and 10Tb, respectively. This is the highest capacity available on traditional hard drives today.
Rotational speed: 7,200 rpm. This is the slew rate of hard disk drive 3.5″ popular, which guarantees basic data access for Barracuda Pro.
Memory: 256Mb. Caching is often not appreciated by the consumer when buying a computer hard drive, but this is what speeds up data exchange, especially when you have multiple files to access at once.
Interface: SATA 3.0 6Gb / s, the limitations of hard drive access, manufacturers are not paying enough attention to the interface of the HDDs because SATA 3.0 ports provide access through Widely so that files can be transferred smoothly in the system.

Test 1: HD Tune Pro
The Barracuda Pro offers a remarkable read / write performance compared to other popular HDDs such as the WD Black 6Tb, but it’s not comparable to the SSD speed, but with the HDD it’s an impressive number.
Test 2: Crystal Disk Mark
Just like the test, Barracuda Pro 10Tb results are quite close to the test. The read / write capability is at a relatively high 235Mb / s speed with a physical hard drive. Speed reading random record is nothing outstanding but 2.4Mb / s is not bad numbers. It may be a long way to go if the HDD wants to reach SSD speed, but ½ is also a good performer.
Test 3: AS SSD Benchmark
This test seems a little bit hard when the speed of all the hard drives are not as good as the previous tests, but if you compare storage devices with each other Barracuda Pro is still outstanding and outstanding.
Test 4: Copy specific folders on devices
Using a folder and a 20Gb emulator, we will compare the actual time that the storage device will be able to complete the reading. In fact, with such a large file / folder, Barracuda Pro is not outdated by SSDs, with just a few tens of seconds of reading time.
Summary
Perhaps for an impressive hard drive like the Barracuda Pro we can expect higher capacity storage devices, better accessibility, and replace existing hard drives. With the rapid growth of the entertainment industry, such hard drives are indispensable if you do not want to have to delete the movie, or your favorite game or the mounting of the drive. Hard disk space on your computer makes them more power hungry and heavier.
Barracuda Pro 10Tb for whom?
With such large hard drives, the first destination of a hard drive is probably the server and the workstation because the storage needs of these machines are huge. NAS systems and data backup are also expected to be mounted on high capacity devices because they do not want to have to delete or replace the device constantly. Gamers, designers, filmmakers will also need them with high data storage needs. In the future, when storage devices are cheaper, the demand for hard drives like the Seagate Barracuda Pro 10Tb will be higher.
