amazon TV Box Voyo V2 reviews
This is the first device running Windows 10 Chinese brand.
Not long ago, a friend of mine after a business trip in China bought one cheap device, extremely compact, can run Windows 10, branded Voyo. As its name on the box, it seems this is the 2nd version of this computer line.
The first impression of this product, it’s small, beautiful, luxurious, delectable finishing with glass and diamond cut edges, like an Apple product. Around its edges are perfect metal. I appreciate this is a nice product, like many of today’s PC mini templates.
According to the manufacturer, Voyo V2 is essentially a TV Box, so that at first I thought it is a mini PC. The reason for this is that it uses Intel processors and running Windows 10, it is very rare to see on the device TV Box. Labels on the box also has “mini PC Box”
The TV Box in the market typically use ARM processors power saving, as well as installed a open source operating system in favor of entertainment, such as Android or Linux OS. At the same time, I do not think the basic Windows 10 can work well with the operating system as a product for TV Box.

This product has a 32GB eMMC memory chips, enough to install Windows 10. However, as we know, this memory chip usually only appear on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets, which do not bring high-speed access. And the installation of Windows 10 on eMMC promises to bring utopia slow speed.
Along with this memory chip, we also have one other memory is 64GB SSD. No conditions eviscerate this product, but I guess it SSD is connected via m-SATA interface.
The experience extremely slow on Voyo V2 makes me continue to wonder whether those who developed this product, what do they think when they get the idea of it. To really be able to use as a TV Box, maybe I’ll find a way to install one more minimalist operating system to serve the needs of entertainment is becoming the first basic video player for your TV.
But … forget about configuration issues or user experience goes. I also think back to continue to use it, because its temperature is too horrible. Another serious problem comes from rechargeable batteries inside the device, it’s cruel, it makes the TV Box to become a “embers” of use, particularly with aluminum and even glass.
