amazon URBANISTA TOKYO reviews
Not only has the large pairs of over-ear headphones like Seattle fit for home music player, the Swedish Urbanista also has a couple of in-ear heaphones suitable for music lovers everywhere. “Tokyo” is such a product, and it’s also their first fully wireless earbud.
Each of the products is named after a city, and this time it’s the capital of Cherry Blossom. As a pair of wireless earbud, Tokyo comes with a handy charger. With a small design, the two sides of the ear only for about 3 hours of music, but when combined with the charger, this number is increased to 12 hours. Inside the box is charger cable and 3 ear tips set.
One of the major obstacles in designing is the size. On each side of the earbud, beside of the diaphragm they have to “insert”more batteries, electronic circuits so these types of earbuds are large, difficult to wear. Tokyo is quite large but is designed reasonably, fit the ear mold so it does not feel uncomfortable.
The outside of the earbud is the maltifunction button can use to stop, play and receive calls. The microphone is intergrated on both sides, so users can use one ear as a headset if they want.
The box is well-designed, but quite easy to scratch. The upper part is made of glossy plastic, the soft rubber bottom, so both are very easy to stick to grafts, if you want to keep this box unscratch, you should have a velvet bag to hold.

Tokyo is a pair of bass earbuds, suitable for bass lovers. Earbuds are pretty much in this section, Dance and Rave lovers certainly will not be disappointed. The sub bass is quite deep, but to the lowest frequencies there is a decrease in volume so it does not feel of mingling. Try the Jardin Secret form Cécile Corbel, drum sounds are quite strong, localized, puchy. Althought it’s designed as a earbuds, it also does not sound bad in chill music, but the earbuds are especially suitable for deep bass.
Beside the strong bass, the middle also has a slight backward. Try Amber Rubarth’s moon, the vocal is slightly more than voices, so the middle part can be classified as airy. The low mid has good thickness, but has lots of vocal so the male singers can not show the intensity, hoarse. The earbuds seem to be more suited to female vocals, Emily Browning’s voice in Musician, Please take heed slowly, slightly lighter but with good detail. The high mid climb high enough and roll off, avoid any sibalance.
As in the tradition of Urbanista, the high of the earbuds is just enough, not too special. High volume just at medium level, roll of when high. The Hi-hat is quite fast, the resonance is not wide, if allowed wider, it will certainly be more impressive. But overall, this frequency band is quite consistent with the sound of the earbuds, creating harmony and easy to listen.
Conclusion
For the price of 3 million dong, Urbanista Tokyo is in the hight segment compared to other wireless earbuds, not everyone can afford. This product is most suitable for those who love to experience wireless earbuds, with rich sound, deep bass. Up to the next version, I want the headset to be integrated with virtual assistant, along with a few simple commands to catch up other wireless products.
