amazon SoundMAGIC E11BT reviews
Open the box
The box of E11BT is decorated quite similar to its products, but it is made larger to hold the ear-type earbuds inside.
The 3 advertised features on the outside are the latest Bluetooth v5.0, 20 hours of music playback and wireless music editing capabilities.
The box can be opened with magnets, with the cellophane design and the main color tone being black.
In addition to headphones, we have accessories including 2 ear cushions, manual paper, micro USB charging cords (short form) and a wire-drawing bag that looks quite similar to previous hooded headphones of SoundMAGIC . In general, this kit can be said to be adequate for a pair of low-mid-range headphones like E11BT.
As the name suggests, E11BT is a wireless version of E11C, so the design language of the two products is quite similar, especially the ear wear is exactly the same. The difference lies in the design of the necklace below.
E11BT has a plastic collar, which is made quite lightly, so it doesn’t wear neck. There is no control button here, but only the battery – providing power for headphones to play music within 12 hours.
The control buttons are placed in a cluster on the wire, along with the micro USB charging port on the back of a plastic door to meet the IPX4 waterproof standard.
The ear strap is made of lightweight aluminum, which looks exactly like the previous E11C and the E10C pair, but there is an upgrade that incorporates a magnet on the outside to stick together when not listening to music. The design of this headset is very comfortable, because it attaches to the listener’s ear with foam cushion and not the metal body, so users only need to choose the right type of cushion, they can wear E11BT for hours.
– Frequency: 20Hz – 20kHz
– 100dB sensitivity
– 42Ω impedance
– Bluetooth 5.0
– Time to listen to music: 20 hours
– Water resistant IPX4
Due to upgrading from E10BT’s Bluetooth 4.1 standard to 5.0, E11BT keeps a good connection with the source, along with very low latency. In addition to listening to music, I also use this pair of headphones to watch movies, and see latency very close to wired headphones. Combined with good comfort plus long battery life it makes it a great pair of headphones for watching mobile movies.
Designed based on E11C, I thought that E11BT also had the same sound quality, but in fact there are some certain differences. Both are fine-tuned to suit the purpose of listening, but the E11C is somewhat prominent, while E11BT is more backward and soft.
The bass part is just enough to use it, a little extra, but the difference is that a lot of emphasis is placed on the bass sub, not the mid bass like most headphones on the market. Bass in Emi Fujita’s Desperado song pressed down and pulled the tail for a while before sinking, quite heavy and highly vibrating. E11C also has similar bass, but it seems uniform from sub to mid bass, so it is punchy and interrupts faster. This means that E11BT gives the bass a bit softer and a little softer. For jazz songs, this is a good thing, because bass blends with other components, but with Pop it seems a bit slow. This bass will probably have to try to see if it suits each person or not, but it’s not so bad for me.
The mid sound also has a little difference, when E11BT makes the vocalist step back a bit when compared to E11C. This is even more evident in the light and softer sound than the wired version, which helps users feel laid back and gentle. Although the vocalist’s voice is not close, but retaining good detail, seasonality should always be clear enough. The mid-air is slightly lighter, so Sarah McLachlan is airy, good at the high mid section to make the vocals stand out. It is hard to say which way to express a singer is better, but both are clean and technical enough to be said to be good enough.
Treble is the second pair of headphones that are quite similar, and all work very well. The amount of treble is high enough, the gameplay is also thick and the roll off is not too strong. Different from the E10C pair I heard before, both wired and wireless E11 are good at controlling treble so that they are not glare and pinch into other sound bands. I personally think this is a treble sound or cheap.
