The content is quite simple. A mother named Karla Dyson (Halle Berry) is kidnapped while competing for custody of her husband waiting for a divorce. So no need to say, the protagonist decided to find ways to save their children from the kidnappers. Maybe when you read here you will think that Karly’s husband is the culprit. That’s exactly the wrong guess. Because the plot is even simpler than what the viewer can think of, so much so that you may be surprised to hear the truth at the end.
The pursuit of kidnappers played a large part on the street. The abductor is desperate to threaten to kill the baby if the mother pursues. They are more agitated than throwing many obstacles down the road, harming others. But I was surprised that no one reported the police or had police chase like many other movies when these events took place.
Actually, the progress in the movie made me feel that it was too dramatic. In some ways, I can understand the emotion of chaos and foolishness when a mother loses her child. Especially when she has the clues to find the kidnapper, but is not able to call 911 support. That may be the only way to trace your baby, but it is quite risky and the risk of kidnappers abducting both mother and child is huge. Even when the kidnappers risked killing the characters once and knowing they were not alone, Karla continued to stubbornly chase after herself on a deserted, unpaved path. With the car running low on gasoline, I feel it is not reasonable. But surprisingly, at the end of the film, Karla suddenly suddenly clever, suddenly think unexpectedly that I also … exhausted.
