amazon Kingston HyperX Predator kit 8GB reviews
DESIGN
The HyperX Predator Kit 8GB (KHX24C11T2K2 / 8X) is Kingston’s new line of RAM with optimized design and top-of-the-line HyperX technology, contributing to “perfecting” a system that can meet the rigorous requirements. Slot of users and gamers.
The HyperX Predator kit includes 8GB of DDR3 memory, 2.400MHz bus (PC3-19200) with 8GB of storage (2x4GB).
Compared to conventional RAM, the HyperX Predator kit is 8GB in size with a RAM height of about 54mm and a thickness of 7mm (including the heat sink). Two large aluminum alloy heatpumps “hug” along the length of the side of the RAM, giving you a solid feel and heat dissipation capability.
The kit is designed for regular desktops and should not provide ECC (error-correcting code). In addition, the HyperX Predator kit 8GB is equipped with an SPD (serial presence detect) chip that supports XMP (extreme memory profile) technology, so when used on a BMC-enabled device, the reader readily ejects the clock (Bus) to the highest limit with just a few simple settings in the BIOS.
Ball Grid Array (BGA) memory chips are capable of up to 50% less heat dissipation than previous Thin Small Outline Package (TSOP) packaging.
According to manufacturer information, the HyperX Predator kit 8GB clock can reach 2,400MHz with 11-13-13-30-2T basic timing and 1.65V voltage.

Performance
Tested on the Ivy Bridge platform with the BMC Gigabyte Z77-UD5H, Intel Core i7-3770K processor and integrated graphics HD Graphics 4000. The tests include PCMark 05 and AIDA64 Memory Benchmark which measures read, write, copy and PCMark 7 speeds to evaluate the effects on system performance when RAM is changed. Results of the tests get the highest value after 3 runs.
With the default setting of the BMC, Test Lab found the HyperX Predator kit at 833 clockwork at 1.333 MHz, 9-9-9-24-1T timing and 47.4ns high latency.
With PCMark 05 (RAM only), the HyperX Predator kit 8GB reached 14,274 points.
More specifically, with the AIDA64 test speed reading, writing and copying kit found to be quite high compared to some RAM Test Labs tested. Specifically, the read speed reached 16,055MB / s, recorded 18,545MB / s and copy is 18,053MB / s.
Similar to the overall system performance evaluation tool is PCMark 7, HyperX Predator kit 8GB reached 3,285 points.
By activating the XMP mode to boost the clock to 2.400MHz, Test Lab found that the core timing indexes of the RAM kit also changed dramatically by 11-13-13-30-2T and the delay dropped to 35.4ns ( Reduced by 25.32% compared to the 1.333MHz bus).
With higher clock rates and lower latency, the HyperX Predator kit’s 8GB access speed increased significantly. Specifically, the read speed reached 21,395 MB / s (33.26% increase), recording 20,527MB / s (up 10.69%) and copy is 24.205MB / s (up 34.08%).
The PCMark 05’s RAM score also increased 9.26% when the test configuration reached 15,596 points.
With PCMark 7, which evaluates the impact of the system on RAM changes, Test Lab found that the overall test configuration performance increased by 5.05 percent compared to the 1.333MHz. The score of component tests (except system storage) also increased significantly; Of which the lightweight increased by 3.42% and the highest computation test was 17.9% higher than the 1.333MHz.
