amazon POCO F3 reviews
Design
An impressive and premium-looking device, the POCO F3 combines an in-mold glossy glass back with a solid metal frame. The whole set is topped off with Gorilla Glass 5 on both fronts and back.
However, the back is cupping over the sides to create a relatively comfortable grip but it does not have an unmatte form, as it will very catch sweat and fingerprints when used. The camera cluster is placed along the left corner in a somewhat prominent display.
Display screen
The display quality is more or less what has changed in the POCO F3 from the F2 Pro version, the device having a 6.67 inch screen, full-high definition plus resolution, and AMOLED panels. The real evolution is the increased screen refresh rate to 120Hz and 360Hz touch sampling, which is pretty much quality improvement.
All very thin, except for the lower “chin”, of which there’s also not much skin left on it for the best experience. The selfie camera cluster embedded in the screen doesn’t take up much space, either; it’s even more compact than that of the newly-launched Redmi Note 10 Pro.
Like in Redmi Note 10 Pro and POCO X3 Pro, you can select either a 60Hz or 120Hz screen refresh rate in the settings based on your need, while the device’s screen brightness is also relatively high. Maximum automatic brightness is at 900 nits and 1300 nits under HDR content. This should allow usage in really bright conditions or outdoors without too much inconvenience.
Performance
Performance is a huge plus point of POCO F3 equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G processor which is one of the newly launched processors and has very strong performance. This processor has the power of up to 3.2GHz core clock and is coupled with the Adreno 650 graphical core which has impetuous capacity to process images.
The two memory models available for POCO F3 are 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The AnTuTu Benchmark score that POCO F3 achieved would greatly surprise users as it hit a phenomenal 631,850 points, leaving competitors far behind.
This score has partly shown the power of the phone, so it’s considered quite suitable for smartphones for users who love strong devices or use it for gaming or even for gamers.
Camera
POCO F3 has a triple camera on the back, where there is a 48MP main camera with Sony IMX 582 sensor f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP macro lens. On the front, it features a 20MP selfie camera with a f/2.2 aperture.
Relative to photo quality, the default resolution on this camera is 12MP. If you want to shoot in 48MP mode, you need to change that in your settings. Basically sharp image quality in full bright mode; a fair degree of realism and good contrast.
Activate AI mode and the camera will recognize the scene and optimize the color according to the subject. Really increase colors, sky background, and full contrast. This mode is perfect for taking photos and immediate use without much editing and still get a nice photo.
In terms of photos, it has a quality of 48MP; sharpness and detail are good, but very few people use this feature because even though the processing speed after taking pictures is slow relatively, it takes so much space and doesn’t get much overuse.
The ultra-wide-angle camera also looks quite good because it has wide angles of view, has a good color rendering, and very high detail.
The close-up camera of the device has a resolution of 5MP from this lens, and the pictures taken are quite nice, but there isn’t really much to boast about when it comes to its comparison to other competitors.
Normal mode is not something you are supposed to activate for shooting at night with the POCO F3, as it gives relatively good low-light pictures, which will suffer massive loss in details and noise during normal shooting.
If you want sharper photos with greater brightness when shooting at night, you may use Night mode, where the previously noted difference between the two modes is not that prominent. Night mode is better suited to very low light.
Overall, the camera quality of POCO F3 is fairly good, not overly striking compared to other devices of the segment. That is also not what POCO F3 specializes in, making it passable.
Battery
POCO F3 is presuming a battery of about 4,520mAh. What isn’t big, actually, is the battery power-the many devices in the same segment with most batteries have 5,000mAh-but this level of the battery also creates a fairly comfortable time to use. Tests that bring a score of 114h is an impressive number; with this score, you can safely use the device all day or play games for many hours.
Charging speed is another advantage that this device has; a 33W charger does the job of quickly charging the battery of the device. Just for additional info, the POCO F3 charges for 67% in just 30 minutes. The entire battery should charge in 56 minutes to achieve 100% on this device.
Conclusion
In general, POCO F3 bear a familiar style of Xiaomi and POCO products which solid design, strong performance, buffalo battery, and still fit for it. Of course, there are still a few negatives, such as an average camera and no 3.5mm jack.
