Bass: The bass range of the XB700 is quite a lot, true to the eXtra bass nature and more than the majority of today’s True Wireless headphones. The bass section also spreads evenly from the sub-bass range to the mid-bass, not being too biased towards any range. But the point I like about this strip is that it can ‘gather’ all about 1 point, each time the beating is not ‘spread’ to both sides too much. In Fort minor’s “Remember the name”, you can only get the exact position of each drum beat, a point that not all previous eXtra bass headphones can do!
Mid sound: The huge weakness of eXtra bass headphones in the past is that the mids, when this band is ‘distorted’, almost sinks in a ‘bass’, making it difficult for users to listen to the song’s music with lyrics. XB700 and Sony’s new generation products have solved this problem when the singer’s voice is placed in its correct position.
