1.1. What is ChromeCast?

1.2. What types of ChromeCast are there?

Thanks to the practical values ​​brought, with reasonable prices, ChromeCast is a “sold-out” product of Google. Several generations of ChromeCast were released and discontinued. We have:

ChromeCast 1: This is the first generation of ChromeCast, released 7/2013. ChromeCast shape compact design, slightly larger than USB. How to connect ChromeCast to TV

Make sure your TV has a USB slot.

Step 1/ ChromeCast’s HDMI end connects to the end of the device (smartphone, laptop, iPad, …), the other end plugs into the TV’s USB port.

Step 2/ The screen displays content asking you to set up Set me up > Download the ChromeCast application to your device.

Step 3/ Open the downloaded ChromeCast application > wait for the application to search for ChromeCast > click Continue.
