DESIGN BGVP DM6
BGVP DM6 has the professional and luxurious design of a Custom headset when the housing is made quite large and has many curves in the shape of the human ear mold. According to information from the manufacturer, the company has analyzed and compared data from millions of ear molds in Siemens database to finally find the most optimal housing shape for the ears of the majority user. Then the shell is 3D printed for very high accuracy.
As you can see, the entire housing surface of BGVP DM6 is smooth and seamless. The transparent housing part reveals all the components inside making BGVP DM6 more advanced and eye-catching.
BGVP DM6 also has many different colors for you to choose. There are 12 colors in the universal version.
And yet, the company also allows you to “custom” the headset with a texture selection service on the faceplate and housing. You can unleash your personality with this service. Naturally you will lose quite a bit more and the waiting time is about 3-4 weeks.
The cable part comes with a quite pitiful and eye-catching appearance. The wire is hand-woven with 4 cores that the company introduces as OCC silver-plated copper. The large 3.5-liter L section and MMCX connector are both gold plated and solidly finished from metal. As for the look, certainly hard to criticize this headset. We will go deeper into the inner core.

BGVP DM6 is an IEM headset designed with 5 BA drivers for one ear. All of these drivers are from Knowles, USA, which provides the largest BA driver in the world today. Knowles drivers can be found in many Hi-end headsets from reputable brands around the world. This ensures confidence in the stability and durability of the headset during operation.
The drivers used include a Knowles 22955 bass driver and 2 dual-driver Knowles 30017 for mid and treble bands. These drivers are controlled by a 3-way crossover circuit. You can easily see the Bass 22955 driver is very large when compared to the rest of the drivers.
Actually, the number of drivers is not too big a problem for me. The last thing to be concerned about is still the sound quality.
EXPERIENCE
If you have small ears, the bad news is that BGVP DM6 is not born for you. Design slightly oriented Custom of BGVP DM6 is quite large. Those with average ear size and above will not have much trouble wearing BGVP DM6. For me, BGVP DM6 goes very deep inside the ear without any problems. The housing part fully embraces the outer ear chamber and almost immediately in one block. Ancient movements such as shaking his head did not cause BGVP DM6 to wobble from his ears. It is worth the effort to research the Custom hybrid housing of BGVP without wasting.
Due to that, the soundproofing ability of this headset is extremely good. There is almost no noise that can get into your ears when you are wearing BGVP DM6 and playing music.
The stock part doesn’t have hard earhooks but is curled into a shape so when worn, it will not be completely hugged to some of them. The microphonic phenomenon is still but not to the point of discomfort. As I said before, the stock wire is not bad, but sooner or later when you own BGVP DM6, you will also find yourself a better replacement conductor.

SOUND
Is an IEM headset with low impedance and high sensitivity. BGVP DM6 proved extremely sensitive to the source. Therefore, for the best experience, you should have a good source such as a dedicated music player or DAC / AMP because if the sound source is not clean, you may hear quite annoying background noise.
The sound quality of BGVP DM6 gives it an audiophile-like appearance. The sound is quite neutral and has a very high level of detail, the ability to layer and the instrument space. One feature of IEMs is their ability to replace wires. The tone of the headphones will be affected quite a lot by these wires. According to my opinion, the bundled cable has not good sound quality, reducing the music of BGVP DM6. Therefore, a wire upgrade is needed if you are not satisfied with what the stock wire is doing.
Bass range
With the stock cord, BGVP DM6 bass is quite flat, though lacking in a sub-bass. Mid-bass is better, but it is not very neat. The speed is very good due to the use of large BA driver from Knowles. The level of detail that this sound reproduction reproduces is quite impressive, you can easily hear the different drum instruments in the same piece without any difficulty.
Mid range
The mid range is a bit backward but still extremely detailed and speedy. All instruments like guitar, piano, violin or vocals are clear and sharp. The low-mid range has quite a lot good will make the male voice become thicker and more internal. The upper-mid area has a little press to make the female vocal more flutter, no phenomenon of going too high. In general, the mid range has quite good, good balance and detail.
Treble strip
The treb band has a good opening and has enough volume to make the track more detailed and fuller. You can hear very small details like the drumstick touching the drum surface or the sound of a snare or a cymbal. Treb is quite brittle and tinkling, well controlled without cold. However, sometimes I still hear the sibilance sound happening at some high notes.
Soundstage
Soundstage has good open width, relatively airy space. The depth is also quite good making the space become larger. The position of the instrument and the singer was accurately reproduced.
Experiment with Satin Chimera 4X upgrade cord
The bass range becomes more powerful, the amount of sub-bass is increased quite a bit. Mid-bass is also improved, neat and compact, not as pale as before. Overall bass has been significantly upgraded. The mid range is pushed up a bit. The details of the vocals and instruments are clearer and sharper. However the vocal is slightly thickened. Strip treb clearer and finer than that, sibilance phenomenon completely disappeared. Soundstage is also expanded and the instruments in the track are more clearly separated. Really this is a worthy experience for the glittering look of BGVP DM6.
