The first thing to notice about the COZOY TAKT C experience is that the metal body warms up pretty quickly even when playing music on Spotify. But do not worry, the use of a discrete DAC chip and a high-performance circuitry plus a metal shell that dissipates quickly, the sound phenomenon on TAKT C is completely understandable. Other convertible cables with DAC / AMP like iBasso DC01 also have this phenomenon.
Background sound of COZOY TAKT C is very well handled, clean and static even when plugged into a desktop computer. Usually the cheap transfer cables like VE Odyssey or Hidizs Sonata when plugged into the desktop, the background sound will be a bit buzzing gently when plugging in high-sensitivity headsets like Campfire Andromeda. This proves that the power on this tiny cable is very well done.
Another noteworthy point is that when plugged into the computer, the volume as well as the sound brings better performance, more power and dynamic than plugging in the phone. This is because the power supply feeds the USB port on the computer for a bit more capacity on the phone. So, TAKT C when plugged in to computer, according to my feelings will be better than listening on the phone.
QUALITY
This small converter DAC / AMP has a very adult sound quality. The overall sound of COZOY TAKT C is full, detailed, clear and neutral, with a tendency to focus more on the midrange and high range with a neat and polite bass range.
Treble strip: is a sound strip made very well on TAKT C. Feel the treble has a pretty good texture, the way the detail is kept high, crispy sounding without being too smooth. The control of this tonal range is also very good, although there is a little boost but does not cause the sound to be excessively dazzling. In music with many cymbals and hihats intermingled, the COZOY TAKT C still has the ability to accurately separate so that their sound does not get mixed together when listening. It is hard to believe that a small cable can do this.
Mid range: This is the negative range that COZOY TAKT C makes me most impressed. It is colorless and warm like most other DAC / AMP convertible cables, neutral, clear and very rustic. Bass range: Most cheap DAC / AMP conversion cables will hit this sound strip to increase excitement for the listener. But COZOY TAKT C is not one of them. Bass of TAKT C increases a lot in quality, not in quantity. Bass beat very neatly, decisively, with a clear body and concentrated in mid bass. Sub-bass when listening on the phone you will feel a bit drastic due to the power I have said above but when plugged into a computer, it was much better. Sub-bass has good vibration, down to even in the Deep House.
The soundstage is spacious and has good depth. The ability to layer the instrument is also quite good, not as excellent as the high-end DAC / AMP models. The position of the instrument is arranged accurately, the sound level is quite good.

COMPARE
The first will be the first COZOY TAKT:
COZOY TAKT C with the power of the newer DAC chip shows the overwhelming detail in the music, the texture of the instruments, the depth and dynamics of the sound. Looking at the SNR and the output power of both are clear. TAKT C’s SNR is up to 120 dB while the old TAKT is only 112d B. COZOY TAKT C produces a more mature sound, the bass is more compact, the mid is clearer, more neutral and the treble is more detailed.
COZOY TAKT will win TAKT C at the inherent point of connecting Lightning to Apple devices. The sound of TAKT, though not as tight as TAKT C, sounds more relaxed, slow and chill, not serious like TAKT C. Another point is that TAKT is always as cool as ice cream even when operating for a long time while TAKT C is always burning.
VE Odyssey HD
Of course with the huge difference in price range. COZOY TAKT will put his head and neck to VE Odyssey HD, but many of you still want to imagine the difference between these two DAC / AMP transfer cables. The sound of Odyssey HD is weak as it sounds quite digital, not natural. Background noise is not really clear when plugging in the high-sensitivity headphones. The sound is not full and detailed. In return, the bass range of Odyssey is quite rich in volume and seems more fun than TAKT C.
Hiby R6
How much of a music player COZOY TAKT C will be will be a question one will ask when choosing. So I will compare it to a true music player.
Hiby R6 will win most when it comes to technical aspects. The instruments are better peeled off, the sound is clearer, the stage is more spacious. Then TAKT C can take anything out of it. If it’s fair to say, in terms of details, TAKT C does very well, not inferior to Hiby R6. The treble band is less prone to hiss than Hiby R6 (When listening on Campfire Andromeda).
SUMMARY
At a price of more than $100 for a DAC / AMP transfer cable as small as a finger tip. Many people will buy it as a crazy act, but if you are a true audiophile, look and watch carefully what you said above. COZOY TAKT C is clearly not a joke. It’s designed and perfected on the level of an Apple device, sounds a bit better than the universal music player and will definitely kill all the audio cables attached to your device.
