amazon Harman Kardon Go Play reviews
Design
Harman Kardon Go Play is designed in a boombox style, a bit nostalgic, but overall, it still has the polite and subtle design language of its portable speakers.
It still looks very similar to its predecessor, Go play has a beveled curved design along with a stainless steel handle located in the middle of the top of the speaker.
Although labeled as “portable speakers”, this speaker is clearly not the type of speaker that you can throw in the backpack that carry with you as a smaller speaker. However, with the large steel grip, carrying is also easier than the 3.5kg speaker.
The loudspeaker is of very solid quality and is polished, which is typical of Harman Kardon speakers. But honestly, at the price of Go Play, as well as what the manufacturer advertised, this speaker model does not give a true high-end feeling.
Function
Compared with other large speakers, the Go Play really does not have much noticeable features. Still a Bluetooth connection, the ability to receive calls, aux connections and USB ports for charging for mobile devices. Harman Kardon Go Play can also connect two speakers together to form a stereo system, but unfortunately I only have one Go Play.
According to the manufacturer, this model can play music up to 8 hours depending on volume after 3 hours fully charged. With the actual test, at a volume of about two-thirds, Harman Kardon Go Play can play music for nearly 5 hours. Actually this is not a bad number – sometimes impressive – when you experience the power that this speaker can bring.

Sound quality
Maybe the features and appearance of this speaker is a bit outdated when compared to other models on the market, but obviously that is not very important. What’s really important is the sound quality of the speakers.
The shape of Go Play can be said to be quite special and unusual. But the abnormality turns out to make the location of the drivers placed far apart so that a portable and wireless speaker like Go Play can create a very large sound space and good separation of layers.
With two tweeter drivers, the high end of Go Play really shines in any kind of music you will hear. Leng keng, detail, and very high is what this speaker can perform in high strips. The sonic details, progress, and prominent prominence on the background music.
The speakers have a warm, energetic and colorful bass, especially for bass enthusiasts. The bass strings are very powerful and have very good bass response. However, because the speed is slightly slow with the upper slightly bass slightly lacking force, the bass range of Go Play has a little something missing link as well as the real sound. Overall, it’s not quite perfect but Harman Kardon Go Play is probably the most impressive bass-powered speaker I’ve ever experienced.
With two woofer speakers and two tweeters 4x25W, the Go Play is actually a tycoon in terms of volume and power. During the speaker experience, I have never had the chance to open the loudspeaker at the largest volume. Just about 2 thirds of the volume, even if it’s put outdoors.
Summary
Despite the lack of fashionable features that many other products are equipped with, Harman Kardon Go Play is still a viable option if you are looking for a truly distinctive speaker.
Although there are some downsides to the quality of the sound that can make the listener difficult less satisfy, Go Play is actually a large portable speaker that can meet both mobility and good looks. Like a good enough sound and powerful for a large space.
