If you are looking for a new computer mouse to use, I have a great ‘candidate’ that you should consider: vertical mouse Logitech Vertical MX. In addition to the unusual design, the MX Vertical still functions exactly like normal mice, still has the right buttons, still has scroll wheels, and still has the usual drop-down mechanism.
But with vertical design, Vertical MX is said to bring higher comfort than mice that are usually ‘horizontal’. And for those who suffer from chronic wrist pain, MX Vertical will be a great choice, with its ergonomic design.

But with a crowded working environment, with a lot of wireless products, perhaps choosing Type-C USB dongles or wires would be more reasonable. When used with the dongle, the MX Vertical’s battery life is impressive, I have to charge it for 1 once/2 months.
On the mouse, we can see another button that can be customized by Logitech software. We can use it to stop / play music, change the cursor speed, or like I put it to open existing applications on the Windows screen.

MX Vertical is also not too heavy, so it is not a big problem to bring them, but due to the large design, when traveling, I often use thin mice to save space. The design of MX Vertical is quite large, so it is suitable for those who use backpacks, but not suitable for those who constantly have to go on business, or want to work with only 1 pair of thin laptops.
Maybe I still need to use a normal mouse with a ‘horizontal’ posture.
One of the weaknesses of vertical mice like MX Vertical is that they cannot be used to play games. One of the games I often play is shooting (first-person shooter), and MX Vertical doesn’t give the same high precision as normal mice. The product is a bit expensive, but it is worth it for those with wrist pain
Logitech MX Vertical has a high price, up to $100, so this is a high-end product for those who have known vertical mouse, not those who want to ‘try it’.
But for those who often have hand pain due to the use of normal mice for a long time, MX Vertical is a good choice. $100 is pretty much, but maybe we can’t tag any price on our health.
Another drawback I haven’t mentioned: The mouse is only available for right-handed people. The market also has a few vertical mice for left-handed people, but unfortunately, the MX Vertical has only one design.
